The days start with discussion on Community Dialogue Space of Asia Pacific Village.

Youth Open Dialogue with Salman Ahmad; International UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador and James Chau; National UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador for China:

Young people discuss with the Ambassadors about youth involvement and express their concern about process and status of young people in UNAIDS programs, program planning to monitoring regardless the constituencies of young persons.

Young people internationally commend the incredible efforts of UNAIDS and other agencies for endorsing young people’s participation in various international forum. We urge them now to support us as equal partners at national and local policy forum.

Youth-Adult Commitment Desk at Youth Corner: Representative from several organizations like UNFAP, UNAIDS visit the commitment desk of youth corner and express their solidarity with young people with specific commitment.

Youth Press Conference: First youth press conference was held on Media room of ICCAP from 13:00 to 13:45. During the conference speakers explained about Bali Youth Force, brief about website and briefly talk about recommendation made by youths during youth pre-conference on 7-8th August. Speakers answered the queries and concern raise from media personal about involving other young people and moving forward to Korea, for next ICAAP. Barrier facing by young people and impact of globalization were also concern of media persons.

Youth Corner: A space named Youth Corner was opened in Asia Pacific Village to facilitate youth works during ICAAP. It will be a place to perform several youth discussions, presentations. It will serve as youth hub.

Youth @ Plenary: Liping Mian, Youth Campaign Coordinator of the World AIDS Campaign and Member of BYF made a presentation at plenary on next generation of AIDS response in Asia and Pacific region. Three main points were raised during presentation:

The presentation was very lively and received the lots of good reflections from audiences.
